Chuandixia Village | |||
Chuandixia Village is the "cultural pearl of ancient villages" hiding quietly in the deep valleys west of Beijing. It lies on an ancient postal road and was established during the Ming Dynasty. The cottages are built on the side of a hill, surrounded by mountains and forests. Visitors to the village can observe the traditions of Chinese life playing out as they've done for centuries. |
